ABERFOYLE, MY ROUND TABLE, A NEW MIRROR (Oh my)!

Aberfoyle Antique Market is an outdoor market that runs from the Spring throughout the Fall.

This sort of market is far and few between in my area and one never knows what treasure will be unearthed.

I have a small collection of tole trays, the majority being black. Here is one I found at the market for $10.00.

Although it's not the most desirable tray in my collection, it was too good of a deal to pass up. Most of my black trays have been purchased off of Ebay from various vendors in the USA. They cost me a lot more than $10.00 - just in the shipping alone!

I also purchased a large toleware candle holder. The small tole candle holder to the right was a vintage purchase from Etsy.

This display is sitting atop my new round coffee table (see earlier post). When I purchased the table the paint on the top was peeling. Hubs sanded off the paint and simply freshened up the paint job.

And now my new table has taken up permanent residency in my livingroom!

I am smitten with this new acquisition!

I also have a collection of mirrors. Here is one of my latest purchases. (Note to self - ensure all fingerprints are windexed away before you take your photograph)

Thank you for taking the time to visit today! Cheers - ~Lisa~

  2. Hi Lisa, I searched high and low for appliques here in Canada and couldn't find any. I too ordered from the U.S.
