EIGHT thru to

Complete - Yeah!
At the Farmer's Market we came across these!

Has anyone ever seen them before? We have not!

Sweet little wee mini cabbages! We were told they are off-shoots and many farmers don't harvest them. But why?

Some salt and pepper, butter and fresh garlic and they are DELICIOUS!

Many thanks to my blog friends who offered their advice on my "Turner" mirror. I'm keeping it "as is". I appreciate your input.

Enjoy your day!

Cheers ~ Lisa ~

  1. Cute cabbages... never seen any that small either. I've never grown my own so I didn't know their were "off shoots". This year I AM trying to grow my own brussel sprouts... it will be interesting to see what happens with them in the fall.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your numbers on the stairs! My stairs (like my floors) are painted. I thought about painting stripes on them but decided against it. The numbers are a great idea... are your's painted? Metal? Or what?

  2. Love the numbers on your stairs!! So charming!! The mini-cabbages look delicious!! Yum!

  3. Congrats on finishing the stairs... I have lots of projects that I start but never finish... great that you can cross this off your list... oh and I'm suddenly craving cole slaw!

  4. Oh my goodness...they are so cute! Yummy...

I love the way the stairs look, a real conversation piece when you have visitors, I bet!

  5. Mhmm I love the farmers market!! By the way, I really like your mirror in the last post! Come visit me sometime, I'm new to the blog world ;)

  6. thanks girl! I'm following you right back. :) And you'll laugh even harder when you hear that my not so awesome but still free sewing machine no longer works. bummer. However, my bday is tuesday so im crossing my fingers that someone in the family will hook me up! hhaha

Many thanks for your comments!
