After my recent post about my new ROSES piece of art, many of you inquired about the boutique I purchased it from. I've decided to do this little feature.
I now have the pleasure of introducing you to this delightful store,
located right here in the heart of downtown Brampton.
WELCOME TO NOT TOO SHABBY!
It's important for us to support and promote our local small businesses.
Let's take a wee inside tour, shall we?
The big box stores are always lurking in the background, waiting to chew 'em up and spit 'em out!
This type of boutique is borne from one's passion!
There is a dream that is to be fulfilled.
You won't find these items in a chain store at the local mall.
These are all unique, one-of-a-kind treasures!
The proprietor is a young woman who clearly has talent and vision.
This is apparent as soon as you enter her store.
You'll be greeted with a cheerful "Hello" accompanied by a sunny smile.
The perfect place to shop if you're looking for a beautiful Shabby Chic
piece for your home or a unique gift for yourself or a special someone!

ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I already scouted them out on their website after your first post ;) That aquaish blue bench would be mine if I could fit it into my suitcase to bring home next month!

ReplyDeleteHello, Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment. My children just drive right through all that snow to get back to their houses. Most times they can make it. My husband is planning to buy a snow plow. Love that cute little shop, I like shops like that. Wish it wasn't so far for me to shop there LOL!

I am wildly in love with that blue bench. That has got to be the cutest thing ever! I would love to find something like that for my porch. It's ADORABLE. I'm betting it is made from an antique bed. Sigh. Just love it! Thanks for the rest of the eye candy, too.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)

I would be absolutely drawn into this lovely store, what incredible displays she has to tempt you in and it doesn't look like there is any disappointment on the inside. What pretties blues and pinks to go along with the gorgeous whites. I love furniture and accessory stores, they are as good as chocolate!

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, Funny thing, I was looking at your blog yesterday and was going to come back. I am now following you too. I lived in Brampton for 8 years or so - it really is a small world!
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch, are you following Keswick & Country? She has a great giveaway on right now.
I'm away from home for 2 weeks so I'm missing my DIY projects, I have to find something to blog about as I'm going through withdrawal.

I actually found this store through your blog. We have been to the Rose Theatre twice this winter, and I didn't notice the store either time. I plan to stop by tomorrow if the roads are good, or one day next week on the way home from work. Thanks for sharing it, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely looking store. I think I need to come to Brampton! : )
